About
Based on Skeleton Tights by TheHappiiZombiie
I followed TheHappiiZombii's advice and I wore these tights and used chalk to outline where the bones would go. I looked at other tights online as well as anatomical images.
I took them off and inserted flat folded newspaper so the paint wouldn't sink through. I painted in the bones with fabric paint (I already had this, but it's less than a $1 at Michael's). It takes about an hour to dry very well. I would have liked to paint the back too, but ran out of time. In the pictures my bones look crooked but I don't think it's a big deal. I could tug on the tights to straighten it out or maybe take more time next time- but I'm happy with how they turned out.
I paired this project with the bleached skeleton shirt project (that I also found on this website) and painted my face to complete my Halloween costume. I already had all of the materials except the face paint which cost $1.50 at Rite Aid. :)
