  • How to make a tray. Simply Elegant Diy Marble Tray - Step 1
    Step 1

Lay your marble tile with its right side facing down so you can glue the little copper tube caps on. Measure a spot approximately 1.5" from either side of a corner and mark it with a Sharpie. Repeat step for all four corners of tile.

  • Step 2

Dab some E6000 on each of the marks as well as on the bottoms of the tube caps. Wait for a minute before adhering them onto the tile so the glue is tacky and not wet (that makes the glue work better). Once all of the tube caps are on, flip the tile over so you can work on the top side.

Next, we want to mark out the spot for our cabinet pulls. Use a ruler to center your pulls and mark the spots using a Sharpie. Use the same gluing process for the cabinet pulls.

  • Step 4

While the glue is still wet, clean up the edges with a cotton swab. Let dry for 24 hours before using the tray and you're done! See how easy that was? It literally took me less than an hour to make it (with a tea break in between, and I was taking pictures the whole time :D)
