Black wool/yarn dread falls / Tie-in, easy to make and fun ^.^
I have used two different kinds of yarn for these, being my first pair of falls! ^.^

I also used a couple hair ties as a base for the falls. (One per fall.)

One very skinny standard and cheap yarn, and one slightly nicer "Wool Ease" Lambs' wool based yarn, which is soft, and not as durable as Acrylic yarns.

Though the wool yarn is more versatile and is more like a roving material, it falls apart easily if you backcomb or tear at it too much.

I suggest you're careful so that the wool doesn't pull apart!

I also braided a few of them together, but sloppily on purpose to keep a more natural appearance. After braiding several strands together, I backcombed the entire dread. Once it seemed fuzzy all around, or in the desired areas, I rubbed in some wax and texturizing pomade, meant for real hair. I used Got 2 B's Playful - pomade, and Headbanger's - wax. Just to keep things together better!

I think the more random and creative you get when making these, the more successful they turn out.

I'm happy with how they came out for my first try, and if anyone wants a how-to or has anything to ask please let me know <3

Hey, I love the look of your falls!!
I see that you have a semi-shaved head, and I was wondering how you put them into your hair.
As of right now I have a Mohawk, and I find wearing falls to be quite a pain, and I can never get them to look good.
I was just wondering how you put your in, and what kind of hairstyle you have. (:

Thanks.<3
