• 

  Step 1

  First take a piece of card and fold in half to make the base of your greeting card.
  Mine is a smallish square however the bigger the card the easier to make as it gets fiddly later.
  Get a smaller peice of coloured paper. Scrunch it up and glue it on the card leaving most of it 3d to give effect.

  Step 2

  Take another piece of card slightly smaller than the coloured piece of paper and fold it in half to make a square. Cut out half a heart with a tab in the middle so that when unfolded it makes a total heart with tabs on either side.
  Then, keeping folded, cut another heart out from the middle.

  Step 3

  Using a separate piece of card cut out a heart with tabs smaller than the smallest heart you have.
  Colour the biggest and smallest red.

  Step 4

  Take the biggest heart and fold the tabs beneath it.
  Stick it on the coloured paper with the edges slightly in so that it is raised.

  Step 5

  Take the white heart and crease it. If you are using double sided tape, placde a piece on the white heart and lay the tabs of the red heart on it (see pic) so the red heart is folded forward.
  If you are using glue do the same but you may have to hold it in place while it dries.

  Step 6

  Put the white (and now attached small red heart) in the big red heart. Sometimes you can wedge it in but sometimes you need to stick it in place.
  Decorate border (partly done here)
