Fabric flower embellished with acrylic stone and glitters made into brooch.

While doing a quick combo test for a dress I was to wear, this brooch idea struck me. This inspiration came out of different How To: for flowers, so I simply customized mine to suit my purpose by adding the acrylic stone to the flower center and shimmering it up!

Step 1Get materials ready!

Step 2Draw a petal template of two different sizes, fold your fabric and pin on it.

Step 3Cut out six petals each of the petals template.

Step 4Stich it up with a running stitch and pull tight.

Step 5You should have something like these two.

Step 6Glue the two petals folds together with the larger one under and the smaller on top.

Step 7Glue on your acrylic syone to the center of the flower.

Step 8Circle round the acrylic stone with your glitter stick nicely and evenly.

Step 9For quick result I blow dried mine...you can do that too all leave all night to dry.

Step 10Cut out a little of piece of fabric to cover up the back end and glue in place.

Step 11Gently and neatly attach your brooch pin to it.

Step 12Voila!
