Step 1
TO PREP
Add plenty of texture to dry hair, from the roots to the ends. I recommend FUDGE Urban Powder Styler or Batiste Dry Shampoo XXL. Be careful not to use too much though – it’s easy to overdo it.
-
Step 2
TWIST AND PIN
Take a small section of hair at the front of your head and twist until it coils back on itself. Pin firmly with two crossed grips and blast with FUDGE Urban Texture Blaster or a firm hairspray. Build your twists across your head, left to right, pinning sections as you go.

Step 3
TO FINISH
Once your updo is complete, create splashes of colour with hair chalk! This is a cool temporary way of adding colour to your hair. Here I’ve used
FUDGE Urban Hair Chalk in white to give a matte look. There are other products available or you can even use soft art pastels.
