Stencil painted SATC bag with lace
I really love the SATC movie and have already been to the cinema three times to watch it ^_^ This is a cute tote bag with stencil painting on it and lace around the edges.

Step 1Seach google images for "sex and the city carried"

Step 2Find the biggest of the pictures of the official movie poster and save it to your computer.

Step 3Open the picture from your computer and hit the "open in paint" -button.

Step 4When opened in paint, mark the "get carried away"-place on the picture and copy.

Step 5Paste it in a new clean picture and adjust, so there's no white.

Step 6Find the stretch tool and make it 400 times bigger in the first two boxes.

Step 7Then it should look something like this :)

Step 8Choose "negative colours" from the bar and voila! Print it out!

Step 9Get a thin piece of cardboard, a knife and something you can put underneath when you cut out the letters.
Clue the paper to the cardboard, so it will stay in place :) -
Step 10When all the letters are cut out (except the Y. ) Make it stay in place on your fabric by pinning it with whatever you have :)
Put a piece of cardboard under the fabric so the paint wont soak through. -
Step 11Dip the paint on with a piece of foam or a brush.
Let it dry.. -
Step 12Correct with a small brush the places where the paint didn't come.
Use rhinestones to make a little cocktail glass to form the "Y" -
Step 13Pin the lace all around the edges of the tote.
Sew it with pink glitter thread :) -
Step 14Iron the tote and make a cute little bow of the lace and sew it on by hand..
AND DONE :D
