Would you like to see my mask?
I made this for my brother, who's in 4rth grade. he's gonna wear it for halloween and during his school parade this october.

You Will Need

Step 1Get a burlap sack of some sort, and cut off the bottom. Make it look as rugged as possible; cut off the bottom with a knife and turn the bag inside out.

Step 2Using a drawing tool visible on black, (i used a white crayon) draw the details of the mask. You may want someone to wear the sack while you plot the eyes.

Step 3Get a knife (with the supervision of an adult) and cut along the drawn lines. Do not cut the stitch marks. Make sure you can see from the eye holes.

Step 4Your mask should look like this. Hot glue/sew together the cuts, to make them look frayed.

Step 5Paint your sack. Use bland and nuetral tones. I used a mixture of green, brown, tan, gray, black, and white.

Step 6Once your mask is dry, weave black string through the bottom line, as if stitching the mouth shut.

Step 7Your mask is compleet!!!
