This is so cool! I wish I had a sewing machine. Romance novels are like 25 cents at thrift stores, and you can tea-stain the pages to make other projects.

I have used clear shelf lining (used to be called MacTac) works really well instead of the tape. They also have a glazed one that give a vellumee look.

That is an awesome wallet! I have lots of Birds and Blooms mags, I think some of those pages mounted on chipboard would make a pretty wallet too!

Just go to the thrift shop, or any used bookstore. I promise they will have tons and they will be the least expensive things in the store.
