Hit the water in style! and for little cash
This bikini was quite easy to make once I figured out the different pieces that composed it. That said, it did take alot of trying on and adjusting. I made a "practice" out of some basic white cotton fabric, and ended up using that as the lining. Top is a halter, with the ties made from an old black t-shirt. Bottoms have side-ties, also made from said shirt. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out,so I didn't make a tutorial, but I can if anyone out there would like one :)

Here are some similar tutorials to help you make this one!
fabric got a little heavier in water than a normal suit-fabric would, but it wasnt a big problem.
the polka dot fabric is a jersey knit that is kinda lightweight. only problem i had with it in the pool was that the tee shirt fabric bleached a dark, dark brown from the chlorine in the pool, but it isnt a major biggie.
