About
What you do with a LOT of extra safety pins and time. . .
I was a grape for Halloween using green balloons and a whole lot of safety pins. So, with Christmas two days later and I had no present for my sister, I decided to use those safety pins.
Warning: very Time Consuming
Note: It is only tricky because I did a fancy thing with it that you don't have to do.

Step 1
Decide what type of pattern you want your bracelet to be. I used two of the types of beads and made every other safety pin blue, black, blue. The other ones were black, blue, black. Then I used the gold, when I strung the safety pins, to be next to every safety pin (this is probably not clear. See pic pture at the top). So, decide your pattern.
Note: stringing beads on the same wire as the safety pins is what made this hard, so I don't recommend it.
-
Step 2
Now that you have your pattern, start opening the safety pins and putting beads on the needle part.
-
Step 3
After you think you made enough to cover your wrist, take the wire and wrap it around your wrist. Add 3 inches extra and cut (you can always trim if too long). Make another.
-
Step 4
String the safety pins (doesn't matter which side but make them all facing the same way and strung on the same side) (if you decided to string a bead between each safety pin, do that). If too long, take some off. If too short add more.
-
Step 5
Now that you have a perfect length, string the other side of the safety pins.
-
Step 6
Take the loose end of the wire and put it through the crimp bead, through one side of the clasp, loop back and go through the crimp bead again. Now, take the pliers and smash the crimp bead. Try not to catch the wire because it will break and you will have to start all over again.
-
Step 7
Do Step 6 to the other 3 sides. Make sure that you don't put a clasp side one the same wire as the same one.
-
Step 8
Wear! Enjoy! I love it!
