Based on Record Book by The AfterCraft
Before heating the record (brilliant idea by the way) I used dressmakers chalk to outline where I wanted to cut. Then while heating I put the record on a bowl, when it flopped it was the right temperature & so very easy to cut with normal scissors. It had to be heated a few times & once cut I heated it again & then placed under some heavy flat things so it would cool completely flat.

The pages inside my book are threaded blank pages so the book really is all mine.

Also for the back cover, I used the LP cover. This particular record "The Fortunes of Scorpio" cost me 50cents (NZD)!!

the worst part of this project is I am so very reluctant to use my notebook - It's just too awesome!

This is a very clever project, it's a great idea and I love it! I especially liked how you used the whole album cover and all. What a good way to make your own journal or diary. Thanks for the tip, now I'm off to make my own. I think out of a rock album would be cool.
