I had to try making these!
Make sure you have enough food coloring before you start. I was nearly out and the colors weren't as nice.
Making neat layers with a spoon was NOT easy. I'd probably get something like a piping bag to layer them next time.
And...the recipe was not as sweet as I like my cupcakes.
