Steamed dumplings filled with vegetarian pork, prawns, mushrooms and carrots!
Pork & prawn dumplings are my Dad's favourite and I wanted to make him dim sum for his birthday so I invented a vegetarian friendly version the whole family could enjoy. They were so tasty!

Step 1Rehydrate the dried mushrooms for a little while before cooking your dumplings.

Step 2Start by shredding the Quorn pork fillets into fine shreds with a fork.

Step 3Thinly slice the mushrooms and prawns and mix into the pork. Grate in the ginger and mix in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, toasted sesame oil, cornflour, baking soda and salt.

Step 4Gently fold the wonton wrappers in your hand and stuff with a spoonful of filling.

Step 5Top with a little chopped carrot.

Step 6Steam for 8 minutes and serve hot!
