A Vintage looking head-piece for a wedding!
I had a gorgeous dress, lace gloves and a petticoat....but something was missing.

I wanted something on my head but couldn't find anything so thought i'd make my own.

Cut two satin rectangles (the size depends on how big you want the bow)and one small piece which will act as a knot.

Cut out a felt piece the same size as the satin.

Sew all three together in order satin pieces facing in and felt on the outside (dont worry it gets turned inside out)

Leave a couple of cm gap so you can turn it inside out...then turn it inside out.

sew the gap and then ruche the middle together and place the last piece of satin around the middle to keep it in place and sew together.

Take the netting and ruche one end, try it over your face to see if its long enough or to long.

Then sew this to the underside of the bow (a few stiches will do)

The sew the bow on one side of the headband (you could put it in the middle, i thought it looked better on the side)

And there you have it, a vintage looking fascinator x
