Pressed Felt Lolita Hat

Tiny felt hat with a touch of whimsy, perfect for any Lolita (Sweet OR Gothic), Steampunk, or Alice's MadHatter! No bigger than a soda can and covered in charming details, this little hat will make a cute accessory for a Halloween costume, a convention, a party, or for everyday wear!

The felt is bright red and was pressed with a delicate pattern. The trim is a checkered ribbon and the brim is decorated with stitched felt hearts. Added to the side is a stitched ribbon bow with an over-sized button center, set askew for a touch of charm. The internal structure is made entirely of embroiderer's canvas, making it super light-weight. The brim is covered in cotton fabric. It was pretty tricky getting the felt to fit just right around the hat and the top without leaving an unsightly seam.

I haven't decided how I want to wear this hat yet, whether by headband, hair clips, hair comb, or chin ties. Any option would work, but I think this one would be best with a hair comb since I know exactly how I want it oriented on the head.
