Thank you to everyone who left comments while I was away!! I left my pixie stick lip balm in my car one day on a hot summer day...and it melted to perfection! So, ever feel like not going through the effort, just stick the jar outside in the middle of summer! As for fun dip, that totally sounds like an awesome idea!!

You can get those containers at almost any grocery store. They are mostly marked as small pill containers but they work for this project if you want to try that. I found them in the 99 cent part that normally has the small trial size stuff. Hope that helps.

Subsituting kool aid powder would work, there is a recipe for the kool aid one on this website. And I got the containers on e-bay.

You could possibly dissolve the pixie sticks if you heated the vaseline to liquid...don't put the pixie sticks in the microwave with the vaseline though, sugar burns.

No, they're like flavored sugar. So, that's why you don't need a lot. Because it will give it a sugary texture. It comes in different flavors like cherry or orange. And has a sugary texture...basically..you're eating sugar as candy.
