I painted mine following a tutorial I found on You tube but they looked so hideous, I have put them away until I can think of what do with them. I was planning to make a necklace incorporated with seed beads, if I do change my my mind I may post here.

I think you may have the same tutorial as me =P I thought a hammer and nail would make a rough hole, and a drill would be easier.

I use the two glues in picture six - UHU glue to stick it down, then this gloss on top. It's called "Liquitex Gloss Medium and Varnish". I have no idea how much it was, either my mum got it from the school she works at or my sister used it on her graphic design course, but it was works well

i make these all the time, but i just use jewelry pliers to fold back the sides of the cap instead of a hammer. I've never gotten them to flatten out for me on wood. instead of drilling holes in them, i just use a small nail and hammer it in. The hole isn't as neat, but it's finctional, and it doesn't snag. My problem is, what kind of glue do you use? I've been using mod podge, but i've tried several others, and they all leave bubbles in the glue after it's dried. Happy The tutorial i originally got the idea from said to use diamond glaze, but it's uber expensive, and i think you can only get it online.
