Peacocky goodness on a chain! Check out this unique hair facinator.
I had a pile of peacock feathers and have been building the feather/chain facinators... The rest is history! The small feather tassels are just the left over bits from trimming the feathers down to the right length.
One thing of note: the peacock feathers didn't need to go so close together. They are about 2 inches apart or so.

As far as peacock feathers go... I took mine off of an old Mardi Gras mask. You can also ask at your local farms and see if any of them will give/sell you feathers. I have a friend who will be selling me this years feathers when her peacocks molt.
