• 

  Step 1

  So we're going to start with four strings of hemp(ALOT OF HEMP. About 60in or more.) and a cord. For the cord think of a material like string, just a little more stiff.
  I bet you can find some at a craft store.

  Start making basic square knots, however you're going to use two strings on each side and only the cord is in the middle.
  aha the picture explains it a bit.

  Step 2

  depending on how big you want your peace sign, make knots only for half of the circle.

  Step 3

  It's going to get tricky.

  but basically you get three strings about 24in. long each. fold them in half over the cord. Tie a knot.

  Step 4

  Here is a close-up of the last step so you can see what I did better.

  Step 5

  act like that knot is a bead.
  keep doing square knots under it and then it should look like this.

  **only keep knotting untill you get the same length as before the knot.

  You DO NOT want an uneven circle.

  Step 6

  CLOSEUP!

  Aha so those strings hanging down you want to start making square knots.

  *Only make about 10 knots if they are small. 5 is they are big. Then add a SMALL bead of your choosing.

  Step 7

  So here's mine 10 knots and a bead later. keep knotting under the bead. ONLY make like 5 knots or less.
  Please aha. You can screw it all uo if it's too long. you can always fix it if it's too short.

  Now you need 3 more strings about 24inches long, folded in half and tied above the bead.

  start making square knots..only about 9 or so.

  Step 8

  add a bead (i used the gold one) and then make about 5 more knots.

  Step 9

  Do the same thing but facing the other side. add another bead ( i used yellow. you can barely see it.)

  Step 10

  aha now start tying things into the shape of a peace sign. try and make your knots look neat.

  Step 11

  Make sure your knots are secure, you might ant to use a little hot glue.

  Cut the extra strings off, add a sring to go around your neck and you're done.
