A kind of boring pair of flats that I transformed to newspaper flat to make it more interesting.

You Will Need

Step 1First gather all your materials and cut out some large pieces of newspaper that you want to put on your shoe ( I would suggest some part of the newspaper that has writing on it).

Step 2Next mix with a paint brush some glue and water about 50% water 50% glue. We will call this mixture the mix.

Step 3Then start covering your shoe with the newspaper by putting some of the mix on your shoe then placing the newspaper overtop of the glue then putting another layer of the mix overtop of the piece of newspaper continue with this till you have your entire shoe covered in newspaper. I only did one layer of newspaper but you can do a second if you choose. Don't be afraid to let the newspaper over lap it gives it a cool effect if you do.

Step 4Then put of few more layers of the mix over the entire shoe. I did about 4 layers on mine and it worked well letting the layers dry before putting the next layer of the mix on.

Step 5Now to start with the decorations for the shoe take 2 strip about 3 cm by 60 cm put some of the mix on them then twist it to make a thin string this is used for the bow and the piping at the top of the shoe put another layer of the mix on the piping then let it dry.

Step 6Take the piping and surround the top of the shoe right at the rim with it and glue it down. Then take the mix and put a layer of that over the piping. Then trim any excess newspaper at the top of the shoe or the bottom.

Step 7Using a bit of the piping that we made make a small bow and glue it on the front of the shoe and put a final layer of the mix on the entire shoe.

Step 8Finally just repeat steps 3-7 on the second shoe to finish them off let them dry the n where them and listen to all your friends gush about how amazing they are.

but i reallly wanto try and make them . wouldnt they get wrecked if they got wet? and do they rip when yu walk in them? hmmm please answer
