Cute and simple. Good for use in future projects.
Make these, and then use them in pendants or as rhinestones, or whatever.

  • How to make a beads. Nail Polish Gems - Step 1
    Step 1

Start off with plain gems. You know what I mean, the ones with the flat backs.

  • How to make a beads. Nail Polish Gems - Step 2
    Step 2

Take nail polish, and completely coat the backs of them. The polish I used was super super super sparkly. This gave my gems more dimension. The more sparkle, the more interesting they are to look at.

    Step 3

Allow them to dry a bit between coats of polish. You don't have to let them dry completely, just enough so that you can lay another coat over the previous one. Notice my Lovedrug CD poking out from under the bed.

Yep, it's really that simple, and they look really really pretty afterwards!

    Viola! You're done.
Now check out my blog because I say so.
