My New Series, "Alice"

Plus a few tips :)
This is my first watercolor draft in my new series "Alice" inspired by the books of Lewis Carol. I plan to have between 10 and 16, since there is so much you can do with it. All mostly watercolor. Although this isn't a how-to, I have a few tips.

- Always do pencil first. I have learned this the hard and tearful way
- I would draw the ground first, then the tree, then anything in the sky, then the girl then anything else
- I used a thing tip black sharpie to outline everything, and on the tree I made the lines thicker.
- My water doesn't look that great, If I could change it I would make a reflection of Alice and make the water lighter

I hope I helped in some way, and maybe even inspired you to make your own, or something better. Probably better. Since I am not very good :)
