Now that it's getting colder outside, I've been craving heartier dishes and a stroganoff seemed like the perfect dish. Serve this with pasta, rice or on pancakes and the remaining bottle of red wine for a delicious dinner!
Now that it's getting colder outside, I've been craving heartier dishes and a stroganoff seemed like the perfect dish. Serve this with pasta, rice or on pancakes and the remaining bottle of red wine for a delicious dinner!
Cook the Quorn steak strips according to their packet and place to one side. Chop up the red onion, spring onions, half of the chives and mushrooms and fry with some olive oil until soft.
Add the Quorn steak and sliced almonds to your frying pan and pour in the stock, red wine and Worcestershire sauce and bring to the boil.
Leave to simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce has reduced by two thirds.
Stir in the creme fraiche and cook for another couple of minutes.
Season and add the remaining chives before serving.
