Mini Apple Crumbles - lovely little treats for parties and desert!
Small bite sized apple crumbles that are great for parties or for a sweet tooth :)

You Will Need

100g flour
50g butter
50g sugar
~300g of short crust pastry
1 apple
1 Jar of apple sauce
2 table spoons of cinnamon

    Preheat the oven to 200 Degrees Celsius

    The cut the short crust pastry into small chunks approximately 1.5 x 1.5 cm each, and roll into a ball.

    Press the balls of pastry into the mini tartlet tin with either a tartlet shaper or the end of a small rolling pin.

    Chop up the apple into small chunks, then mix with the apple sauce and the cinnamon.

    Note - add the cinnamon slowly to adjust to your taste!

    Carefully place the apple mixture into the pastry.

    Rub the butter, flour and sugar together to form the crumble topping. Then carefully cover each tartlet with the crumble topping.

    Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

    Then allow to cool and enjoy!

    Note - this can easily be done with other fruits

    For example, here are some cherry crumbles which use a single dark cherry (de-stoned) with a little cherry jam. The possibilities are endless!
