• 

  Step 1

  Buy or gather little shells. Make sure these are the types that can be worn around your hand.

• 

  Step 2

  Lightly paint them with the color you want. You can use acrylic or poster paint. Just make sure you won't cover the whole shell to make it look like it has only been tainted by the color you applied. Let it dry.

  Step 3

  To make the shells look metallic,paint over the poster paint using a metallic nail polish. Cover the whole thing and let it dry thoroughly.

  Step 4

  Then, put the shells together by connecting them through a string. You can use nylon or a very fine wire. If they won't stick, put some glue. You can leave it there or you can put another coat of hardening agent to make them last longer... =)
