I found the nylon string quite difficult to find, and a 1mm thickness worked better than 0.3mm. I also added the bits to the end to make it a bit larger, as it's for my boyfriend's wrist! And I used a chain I bought from a bead and jewellery shop :)

And yes, I found it quite hard too. Luckily we have a specialist bead and jewellery making shop in town and the woman was very helpful when it came to finding the right things!
