About
quick decorative edible flowers
These were so quick to make, on the sweet side, you could also use powdered jello for vivid color and yummy flavors, :-)
Sorry, no photos of the step by step. :-(

Step 1
Pour your sparkling sugar or jello powder into a small shallow bowl
-
Step 2
Working one cupcake at a time, place a dollop of frosting on the top of the first cupcake.
-
Step 3
Using you clean kitchen scissors, make 4 even coin cuts into the large marshmallow. This should give you 5 slices.
-
Step 4
Working one slice at a time, only dip one side of the sliced marshmallow into the sparkling sugar, or the jello powder. This is the first petal to your flower
-
Step 5
Gently press the edge of the first colored flower petal into the frosting to secure it to the top of the cupcake.
Do the same with the remaining slices to make a flower. -
Step 6
Top it off by adding a colored Skittle candy to the middle of your flower.
Repeat all the steps until you run out of cupcakes.
Now it's a party!
