Create a dark purple look inspired by Maleficent
I loved the Maleficent movie and Angelina Jolie's makeup, so when it was time to shoot photos of my new dress for Fabric On Demand, I couldn't resist creating a similar look for my makeup.

You Will Need

Step 1Start by dusting your lids with the purple eyeshadow. Dip your brush in water to get a bright colour on the lids and then soften the colour out as you reach half way up towards your brow.

Step 2Use an eyeliner pen to draw a dramatic cat eye line.

Step 3Fill in the eyeliner.

Step 4Take a black eyeliner pencil under the eye and smudge a little.

Step 5Dip a small brush in water, dab in glitter and add a touch of sparkle to the corner of each eye.

Step 6Line your lips with the black eyeliner pencil.

Step 7I used a purple glitter lip tattoo from Violent Lips on my lips but you can achieve a similar look with purple lipstick.

Step 8Apply the lip transfer or paint your lips with purple lipstick.

Step 9If you're not using a transfer, blend the lipstick in to the black liner and then dust your lips with glitter.

Step 10Complete the look by applying some false eyelashes and darkening your eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil.
