This is a little off topic, but I have the exact same charm.I inherited it from my greatgrandmother and never really knew where it was from or how old it was.What a coincidence, I was googling polymer clay and this popped up!lol

No, it's not flexible after it's dried. The flexible modelling clay make not so good molds and results, because when you push the polymer clay in the mold it's not so dimensionally stable (hope, that's the right word?).

I had the same problem, that i never had enough beads and it's much cheaper ;)
it definatly solves me problem of never having enough beads for something >3
