You Will Need

Step 1Start with bright poly rope from the dollar store.

Step 2Cut two 9-foot pieces. Burn edges to prevent fraying. Criss-cross pieces at the middle of each piece.

Step 3Start tying a series of lanyard knots. (For help with these knots, see this video tutorial at http://www.examiner.com/article/how-to-make-a-lanyard-or-crown-knot-for-rope-necklaces )

Step 4Keep tying knots until your bracelet is long enough to go over your wrist. Weave loose ends through to make the knots look continuous and glue.

Step 5After glue has dried trim and lightly burn ends.
