Great idea! The fabric "paper" you buy for this is crazy expensive! This is a much better option!

To people with questions about the ink running...
I have a package of this that I bought from a craft store. The directions for color setting are as follows:

After printing, allow to dry.
Remove paper backing.
Press image with a dry iron, high heat.
Rinse gently in cold water, lay fat to dry. Dab excess water with a paper towel. Do not rub! Finish drying fabric with a dry iron, high heat.

I just printed some patterns. Thank you for the awesome tut!
One idea: all glues I had in handy were too strong and I wouldn't have been able to disattach the paper and the fabric so I made a quick glue from a little water and some sugar, put a thin layer of it on the paper, put the fabric over and let it dry. It is stable yet the disattachment is easy.

Does it matter if the 'zipper stoppers' get cut off/tucked in?

Where did you find the pattern? What did you type into 'Google Images' etc. to find the pattern?

Well, I washed the bracelet yesterday by hand, and the colours didn't run or faded. So that's good news ^^
I wouldn't put it in the washing-machine though..

I will put a how-to online for the bracelet soon! =D

Hmm, yea. I made a bracelet of the same fabric I used for this pouch, and it's growing pretty dirty. I am going to put it in the washing-machine one of these days, and then let you know how it went. =)
Think I'm going to iron it first though.. Good idea Laurel!

The fabric that you can buy for inkjet printing is washable so there's no reason why this shouldn't be.
Maybe you can fix the design with a hot iron after it's dry.

Thanks for all the comments and favs!
@ DiannaDIANNAx,
I don't know if the colours will run, but I don't think you should put it in your washing-machine =P
Maybe you can fix it somehow, but I have no idea how xD

I wonder... If the pouch gets wet, will the colors start to run?
It doesn't really matter if it does... I still love this idea! haha thank you!

Actually, no. A friend gave me a tutorial that mine was based on. But I can see why you think it is, they are exactly the same steps! I shall ask my friend if she maybe used the tutorial from Three Bears.
