• 

  Step 1

  First, find a magazine cover design that you like. Cut the cover off of the magazine.

  Step 2

  If your magazine cover if thinner, laminate it or put clear packaging tape on the front and back like I did here.
  This will add strength, durability, and water resistance.

  Step 3

  Fold it in half and score it with a credit card or something. Optionally use a paper clip to hold it while scoring.

  You are now done making the cover. Now on to the inside.

  Step 4

  Choose whatever paper you want, just remember:
  Thicker paper:Less pages
  Thinner paper:More pages

  I used 7-ish sheets of typing paper.

• 

  Step 5

  Take one paper and fold it in half.

• 

  Step 6

  Put it inside the magazine cover so the folds match up. If the paper does not hang over the edge of the cover, then skip the next step.

• 

  Step 7

  Mark out where you need to cut to get the paper to fit the magazine cover, then cut. Repeat this step for all of the pages.

• 

  Step 8

  Take all of your papers and put them together to make a large group of folded papers. (By the way, this is called a signature).

• 

  Step 9

  Put the signature together with the cover and paper clip it together.

• 

  Step 10

  Measure out 3 evenly placed spots to put your staples. Now take a staple and mark where the holes should be (two holes per staple).

• 

  Step 11

  Puncture all of the marks with a pin/needle on the paper side.

• 

  Step 12

  Now go back through from the cover. This is optional, but I highly encourage it.

• 

  Step 13

  Starting on the cover side, Put a staple all the way through the holes you made. Flip the book over.

• 

  Step 14

  Now push the ends down to secure the staple. Repeat this for the next two staples.
  And you're done!
