• 

  Step 1

  First, start out with a normal t-shirt. Don't use a thin on because they are hard to handle.

• 

  Step 2

  Then, measure down the middle and cut. If you are off by a few it doesn't matter much. Also, pin each side so it isn't uneven.

• 

  Step 3

  Next, sew along each side of the shirt to make it look more finished. You also can do cool stiches down the sides.

• 

  Step 4

  Now, take your fabrics and cut out you design.

• 

  Step 5

  Here is the heart. I also cut out another heart for the front of the shirt.

• 

  Step 6

  here is my whale. I was surprised how good it came out. Add the button now too.

• 

  Step 7

  Finnally, sew the whale and hearts on. I tried to center them as much as possible. And there you have it. Now you can show your whale appreciation!
