About
Long, Linen, and the Green Monster of Jealousy
If you have seen my tablecloth skirt, then this is similar.
I love linen, it is great for winter and summer. I love that I look taller, it can be mixed with steampunk, gothic, or modern attire.
the scraps I had from it I used to make my Ruffle Cuffs (go check them out).

Step 3
I created a waistband (hip band) of about 34 inches (leaving room to sew onto zipper). I made it about 4 layers thick, but using a stiffener (or backing/interfacing) would probably be easier. I just didn't want it that stiff.
the waistband ended up being about 2inches wide. -
Step 6
I had thought about adding layers too the bottom, ruffles, lace.
On the pick-ups you could add flowers or butterflies.
whatever embellishments you desire. -
Step 7
Essentially it is a giant circle skirt (or rather 3/4 circle skirt). it moves like a dream, I feel like I'm floating. I hope you do too.
