Jail Bird Skirts

A pair of simple summer skirts
This time I decided to make couple of easy summer skirts to myself.
My pattern is very simple - whole skirt is made out of same knitted jersey fabric. 2 square pieces, one for bottom of the skirt and one for waistband. I bought this nice birdcage fabric few days ago. Unfortunately that fabric piece was absolutely too small to turn to any form of clothing. I decided to cut it pieces and decorate my skirt with some bird cage patches.

Im happy with the results.
Silly me, I made these skirts a bit too big. Maybe I end up selling them.
