Love it; thank you! I've wanted to try resin for years, but I'm always too scared (chemical processes & chemistry in general has always terrified me!)...
Q: Do you know if there are any resins available that can be more easily used indoors? I live in a tiny apartment, & it's hard to get good ventilation (& no outdoor area of my own to use). :/
Thanks so much for this! Have you got any tips for getting the perfect circle for a picture when making round or oval pendants? I can never get them perfect!
This has got to be the best step by step instructions on making Resin pendants etc. Etsy is loaded with blanks, pics etc. Type in search window on Etsy do: supplies also: graphics. I sell on Etsy and I always try to buy from other shops for my supplies. Hope this helps others. LOVE this site!
I have a question. I purchased a resin prop model kit at a convention. It is a white resin that still needs to be painted and touched up modeled after the Auryn necklace from the Neverending Story. I noticed today that there is one spot where there should be an opening (hole), but the resin was never cut out of that spot. The pendant is not that thick (about 1/4 inch). I wanted to know the best way to make this hole. Is it possible to crack the resin and ruin the pendant? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
very clear tutorial. i was totally lost before on how i could possibly make one of these things, but after reading your post, well, i'm off to the hardware tomorrow. thanks.
Is there a good website where you have found the pictures and images that you use for your pendants. I have been searching but can't really come across what I am looking for. I was hoping you might have some tips. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for this helpful tutorial! I finally made my first one and it came out perfectly but one thing... I should have checked it one more time after I thought all the bubbles were gone. This morning there were 4 tiny spots. I'm sure I'll try to camoflauge that area with a wire wrap or something! I can't wait to do the next one!
This is so awesome, thank you so much for the tutorial!
By the way, where did you get your watch parts? I'm having a hard time coming across some, haha.
It's so easy.. I didn't know how easy it was until I learned.
Also another top tip.
Using just old crazy stickers. My friend got my all these old school religious stickers and I'm totally going out and buying more supplies for this.....
Thanks for the how-to. i bought a huge box of resin when i went to NYC (some people go and buy statue of libery statues...some buy resin... ahem! also cos i can't get it where i live)
Great tutorial. I did not know about putting white glue on the back of the picture. Thanks for the tip. I will try that next time I take a stab at resins !
Wow great tutorial! Now im going to try this...iv'e been wanting too for the longest...soooo have you ever tried it with glitter? and if you have let me know how you do that? ive seen it b4 and i love it!
The only problem I am having is finding the metal pendants! I cannot find them at the craft stores in my area (michaels and ac more) where can I find them?

Two questions: I bought epoxy resin from the hardware store...would that work okay?
Two: Where did you find those awesome images? It seems a mystery to me where people find those retro images...
