• 

  Step 1

  I bought this wooden frame from Micheal’s Craft Store for around $6-7 dollars. I fell in love with the style of the frame and the design. It looks very fancy.

  Step 2

  I used gold paint and applied it to the entire frame except for the back of it.

  Step 3

  Once dry, turn it over so that the exposed wood is showing.

• 

  Step 4

  Now it is time to take out the ribbon. I decided to go with classic black satin ribbon. You can use whatever colour you choose. I bought mine at Micheal’s Craft Store as well for $4.99.

  Step 5

  Next, I put the ribbon against the frame. I made sure to leave enough room for the place cards to hang down.

• 

  Step 6

  I used my staple gun to make the ribbon stay on the frame. For me, I personally think that the staple gun is better so you don’t risk having the glue not be strong enough.

  Step 7

  I used the scissors to cut off any extra ribbon.

• 

  Step 8

  Repeat the process four times.

• 

  Step 9

  Now all you have to do is pin the place cards onto the ribbon with a clothespin.
