A great alternative to expensive loose leaf tea steeper.
I love loose leaf tea, but my tea ball went missing and loose leaf was a hug hassle so I made these in little to no time.

    Cut yourself some embroidery thread. I tried out different lengths to see what I liked best. It turns out the purple was the best. Everything else as just a little too short for my liking.

    Thread your needle.

    Take two aero press filters.

    Start to sew as though it were regular paper embroidery.

    Stitch all around the circumference of the filters until you get to the very top. When you get here stop sewing and leave a small hole to get your tea in.

    I couldn't find my loose leaf for this tutorial so I just opened a bag of pre-bagged tea.

    Then I filled the new bag with the tea.

    Now finish sewing, leaving enough of a tail to use as a string. Then cut yourself some card stock and tie it onto the embroidery thread and use it as a tag.

    And voila! You're done! You have successfully made a tea bag.
