• Step 1

  You tooth pick or skewer will need to have one flat end. If you do not have a flat ended skewer or toothpick, you will need create one. Cut the pointed end of one side off of your toothpick or skewer.

• Step 2

  Sand down your cut area so that it is smooth and flat.

• 

  Step 3

  Dip flat end into paint and press against fabric (I recommend practicing on some old fabric or paper first)
  Repeat, placing another circle right beside the first.

• 

  Step 4

  Using the pointed end of your skewer or toothpick, bring the two circles together by creating a triangle to form a heart.

• 

  Step 5

  Repeat until you are pleased with the desired placement and overall look.
