You Will Need

Step 1Wash the empty shells thoroughly and dry.

Step 2Coat it with colorless nail polish. You may also want to use colored nail polish. You can be creative on this.

Step 3Add embellishments using hot glue. Scrap beads, laces and fabrics can be used. Remember: be creative!

Step 4Cover the back part of the shell with your scrap felt or any fabric to make it easier to attach it to the head band or hair clip.

Step 5Cover your head band with a silk ribbon or lace. Then attach the embellished shell to the head band. Make sure to cover any unwanted sight of the hot glue.

Step 6OR use a hair clip to make a fascinator.
