Handmade Scissor Holder Out Of Fabric
Scissors are indispensable in our daily life. It gets rusty easily if it is always in moist. It would get better that scissors are kept in a scissor holder. Here we are glad to introduce you a case for small scissors.
Scissor holder we choose is made of fabric. Two kinds of fabric are adopted to combine the case for small scissors. Now let me show you how we match red fabric with flower prints fabric. Do they match well? Let's see together.

Step 1
Cut the fabric
1. Trace the template by measuring your scissors as the pic shows; cut out the template.
2. Cut out two pieces fabric in accordance of template and two pieces of fabric pattern below.
3. Cut out corresponding cotton lining for each pattern.
Step 2
Combine the fabric
1. Interlay the cotton lining between two pieces of red fabric and do the same with the flower prints fabric.
2. Baste the flower prints fabric onto the red fabric as it shown below.
3. Cut out the fabric for button and button eyelet.
Step 3
Sew the fabric
1. Wrap the button with fabric and glue it with hot melt gun; fold the lacing fabric into small strip.
2. Sew along the edges of the fabric, cut out strip for binding.
3. Cut out the basting; make a loop with the small strip; sew the loop onto red fabric; sew the button onto the flower prints fabric. Then a scissor holder is done.
