• 

  Step 1

  Cut 5cm of wire,then orm a loop as pictured above using round nose pliers.

• 

  Step 2

  Next wrap the wire around a pen or object of your choice.

• 

  Step 3

  Take up the round nose again, bend the wire at the tip to give it a sort of flat look, make a second wire once finished hammer both if you wish. Now you are ready to attach to attach your earwires to your bead units.

• 

  Step 4

  Pictured is a finished large earwire. Beware this technique is addictive.

  Tip: make loads of earwires and store away for future projects.

  Step 5

  Here is one of the earrings I made using handmade wires.

This is a good idea, but not hygienic at all, only sterile items should be placed in piercings and centenary not Random wires, wires are often coated too with chemicals and glazes
