Step 1
Get your supplies.
I had tons of cheap,boring white buttons laying around.
It works with wooden buttons too.
Step 2
Paint the buttons with the acrylic paint the desired color.
Wait for it to dry.
Step 3
With the white acrylic paint draw your dots,stripes or any other pattern you choose.

Wait for it to dry.
Step 4
Cover the buttons with clear spray paint.
Step 5
Now I used crochet ring bases that I made,because I liked the look of sewn up buttons,but if you can't crochet just simply glue them on a ring base.

i really like this.

at first, i thought you used those tiny baby hair scrunchies for the bases, but then i realized you crocheted them. i'm definitely going to try this out. thanks!
