• 

  Step 1

  Pre Heat oven 350/180 degrees.

  Mix all dry cake ingredients together.

• 

  Step 2

  Add wet. Cake ingredients together except the water.

• 

  Step 3

  Add dry & wet ingredients together & combine.

• 

  Step 4

  Add the water & combine.

• 

  Step 5

  Pour into pans & bake for 35 mins until cooked through.

• 

  Step 6

  Once cooked remove from oven & cool completely.

• 

  Step 7

  Frosting...

  In a large pan Combine evaporated milk & corn flour.

  Add in sugar, egg yolks, butter & vanilla.

• 

  Step 8

  Cook on a low heat until reaches a soft boil.

  Stir constantly until thickened. Approx 12 mins.

• 

  Step 9

  Remove from heat & stir in pecans & coconut.

• 

  Step 10

  Let cool for approx 1 hr.

  It will thicken as it cools.

• 

  Step 11

  Layer the cake & put on frosting.

• 

  Step 12

  Cut & serve.
