Step 1Cut strands of super bulky 100% wool yarn (non-superwash) into strips double the length you want them to be on the final hair elastic. Allow extra to provide for shrinkage. Felt the wool yarn by agitating the strands in warm soapy water. Squeeze, rub, and squish each strand. This will matt and condense the fiber, making for sturdy strands. Rinse and hang to dry.

Step 2Take hair elastic and do this with one of the yarn strands.

Step 3Pull it tight.

Step 4Repeat with remaining strands, covering the entire hair elastic.

Step 5Play with crazy ways of rocking it.
