• 

  Step 1

  Gather Your Supplies-

  Scissors
  Pins
  Ruler
  Fleece Fabric,
  Sewing Machine (not pictured ^_^)

  Step 2

  (My fleece wasn't long enough to make a full 6x60in strip, so I cut out 3 strips that were 6x30in and sewed them together.)

  Cut Out 2 Strips of Fleece
  that are 6 inches by 60 inches
  One Strip From Each Fabric

  You can do up to 3 layers of fleece, any more that that and you'll have a problem sewing it.

  Mix it up! You can use all the same colors, two different colors, one color sandwiched by two layers of the same, or use a cool print fabric!

  Step 3

  Pin Your Layers Together

  Then sew right down the middle!
  I just guessed as I went along as to where the middle was, I went slow on the machine and it turned out great! I hate measuring more than it have too, lol.

  Step 4

  Next Sew Two Parallel Lines Down Each Side of The Middle Line

  I didn't measure this either, lol! I just moved the dial on my machine to the outer most setting and lined up the opposite side of the Foot to the middle line.

  Step 5

  Now Cut Your Fringe Into The Edges of Your Scarf.

  I cut 1 inch thick strips into the edge of my scarf. Again not a whole lot of technical measuring here.

  You can make your strips as thick or thin as you like, just make sure to not get close to the seams in the middle.

  Step 6

  Now Fluff It Up!

  You can fluff the fringe with your hands, toss it in the dryer, or swing it around your head like a crazy person... lol. Just get it looking fluffy!

This is such a cute scarf! It looks simple enough even for someone with my lack of sewing skills. Plus, the idea of swinging the scarf wildly about my head like a crazy person is more than a little appealing to me. lol Thank you for the great project!
