  • Step 1

    Using yarn A, CO a multiple of 10 sts plus 1.
    ROW 1: (RS) Kl, * YO, K3, sl 1, K2tog, psso, K3, YO, Kl; rep from * to end.
    ROW 2 and every alt row: K1, P to last st, K1.
    ROW 3: K1,* K1, YO, K2, sl 1, K2tog, psso, K2, YO, K2; rep from * to end.
    ROW 5: K1, * K2, YO, K1, sl 1, K2tog, psso, K1, YO, K3; rep from * to end.
    ROW 7: K1, * K3, YO, sl 1, K2tog, psso, YO, K4; rep from * to end.
    ROW 8: K1, P to last st, K1.

  • Step 2

    Rep Rows 1-8, changing yarns in the following colour sequence and ending with a Row 8:
    16 rows in yarn A,
    8 rows in yarn B.
    Repeat for length required.
    BO/CO.

    NOTE: Don't break main yarn at colour changes, instead carry it loosely up side of work.
