• 

  Step 1

  FIRST: Take your teal nailpolish and paint your entire nail.

  Step 2

  NEXT: Paint about half your nail with another shade of blue, green, teal, or the color of your choice. I did a sky blue.

• 

  Step 3

  Make a curve like so (try this on a piece of paper so that you can master the skill before putting it on your nail)

  Step 4

  Create a pattern like this.

• 

  Step 5

  Then you're comfortable,paint the design on your nail with white polish and a toothpick. The end result should be like so. If you don't want a glitter touch, skip the next step, top off with a clear coat of polish, and you're done!

  Step 6

  If you want the glitter touch, take a toothpick and apply the the sparkly paint in a few of the scales. I chose only one so that it would stand out a bit. Top with clear coat, and you're set!
