You Will Need

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350'

In a large bowl, mix together:

16 oz container of cottage cheese
    1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
1 to 2 cups french fried onions, crushed
    4 eggs, beaten
    1/4 cup olive oil
1 sleeve of saltine crackers, crushed
    salt, pepper, garlic, to taste

  • Step 2

After everything is mixed up really well, prepare a loaf pan with a little olive oil or spray or butter, etc.
Bake for 50 minutes and serve as you would meat loaf.

This tastes especially good with steak sauce!

The next time I make this, I think I'm going to try adding a cup of shredded cheddar to the mix; or maybe I'll used cheddar flavored french fried onions.

    Regardless, Floaf is yummy nummy-licious!!

I made Floaf for dinner this evening and wouldn't you know it, I was out of saltines. What to do, what to do? I used 2 cups of Pepperidge Farms stuffing mix and the Floaf was delicious! Very savory and actually a little more "meat-loafy"
